Hi, I am Ritwik Das.
I am from Kolkata, India 🇮🇳, and over the years my path has taken me across several countries – studying, working, and living in Singapore 🇸🇬, Germany 🇩🇪, Italy 🇮🇹, Switzerland 🇨🇭, and now France 🇫🇷.
These experiences shaped how I understand science, culture, and curiosity.
Outside academic work, I enjoy exploring ideas in AI/ML, taking up consultation projects, and thinking about problems where algorithms meet materials.
Sports play a big part in my life – I love football ⚽ (lifelong Real Madrid supporter, a Madridista, Hala Madrid y nada más! 🤍), tennis 🎾, and weekend biking 🚴 whenever the West-European weather cooperates.
Cold climates give me a sense of clarity, so I often look for places where the air feels sharp and quiet.
At home, I grow plants, small trees, and flowers 🌱🌿, and I’m always adding something new to the balcony garden.
Traveling is another constant – museums 🖼️, old marketplaces, and especially medieval towns 🏰 attract me the most.
I enjoy history, photography, and wandering through streets that hold centuries of memory.

আমি ঋত্বিক দাস।
আমি কলকাতা, ভারত 🇮🇳 থেকে এসেছি। জীবনের পথ আমাকে অনেক দেশে নিয়ে গেছে – পড়াশোনা, গবেষণা এবং কাজের সূত্রে আমি সিঙ্গাপুর 🇸🇬, জার্মানি 🇩🇪, ইতালি 🇮🇹, সুইজারল্যান্ড 🇨🇭, আর এখন ফ্রান্স 🇫🇷 এ বাস করছি।
এই দেশগুলো আমাকে বিজ্ঞান, সংস্কৃতি এবং কৌতূহলকে অন্যভাবে দেখতে শিখিয়েছে।
গবেষণার বাইরে আমি AI/ML, নানা ধরনের স্টাডি বা কনসালটেশন, এবং অ্যালগরিদম ও উপাদানবিজ্ঞানের মিলিত জায়গাগুলো নিয়ে ভাবতে ভালোবাসি।
খেলাধুলাও আমার জীবনের বড় অংশ – আমি ফুটবল ⚽ খুব পছন্দ করি (আজীবন রিয়াল মাদ্রিদ সমর্থক, একজন সত্যিকারের Madridista, Hala Madrid y nada más! 🤍), টেনিস 🎾, আর ছুটির দিনে বাইকিং 🚴 করতে ভালো লাগে, বিশেষ করে পশ্চিম ইউরোপের আবহাওয়া সদয় থাকলে।
ঠান্ডা আবহাওয়া আমার ভীষণ প্রিয় – শান্ত, নির্জন, স্বচ্ছ বাতাস আমাকে মানসিকভাবে খুব স্থির রাখে।
বাড়িতে আমি গাছপালা, ছোট গাছ আর ফুল 🌱🌿 লাগাতে ভালোবাসি। আমার ব্যালকনির বাগানে প্রায়ই নতুন কিছু যোগ হয়।
ভ্রমণও আমার জীবনের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ – জাদুঘর 🖼️, পুরনো বাজার, আর বিশেষ করে মধ্যযুগীয় শহর 🏰 আমাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি আকর্ষণ করে।
ইতিহাস, ফটোগ্রাফি, আর শতাব্দীর স্মৃতি ধরে রাখা ছোট ছোট রাস্তায় হাঁটতে আমার ভীষণ ভালো লাগে।
